John / Jim, I wanted to take the time to communicate our experiences here in Murray regarding Powertech Robotics.  This is a company contracted for robotic programming and support by our machine integrator, Tesco Engineering.

To date, Powertech Robotics employee / specialist Tony Lyons has been at our facility for approximately one month writing robotic code and teaching locations, often times from scratch.  Tony is based out of Michigan, very near to our corporate office.  During this time, we here at Murray have been very pleased with the results of his work, as well as his work ethic.  He has been extremely thorough with backups and instructions for us to understand his programming code, and he has put in a number of days where our work duration was well over 20 hours.  Though these excessive work days were caused primarily due to Webasto customer-generated issues, his attitude towards the job remained focused and dedicated to our customer satisfaction and delivery schedules.  Furthermore, the results have been a successfully functioning assembly process that has satisfied our processing needs and delivery schedules.

I do not know how often robotic support is used by the Michigan manufacturing sites, but it is my intension to make you aware of this company as a viable solution to needs that may arise in the future.  The initial start of Powertech’s work here began with another companies code, and I am very impressed with their ability to review, troubleshoot, and modify as necessary during very stressful times.

If interested, I would be very happy to forward their contact information at your request.

Sincerely,
Tony West
